Changing demands in the home entertainment and technology space has led to a massive supply of unused Cathode Ray Tube (CRT) televisions and monitors.
Glass tubing inside old televisions and computer monitors contains lead. If not properly disposed, uncontained lead can pose a toxic environmental threat to soil, groundwater, and to human health and safety. This environmental risk has made CRT disposal and recycling projects a top priority for local and federal governments. KC Recycling is actively removing this toxic environmental risk by separating the components of the monitors and recycling them each individually.
KC Recycling’s CRT recycling process is comprehensive and sustainable, as KC enables the repurposing of both recycled commodities for future use as new products. Once the CRT glass is removed from the monitors, KC Recycling will also recycle the remaining parts, such as circuit boards and plastics.
Regulatory Compliance: All of KC Recycling’s CRT recycling processes are consistent with state and provincial regulations, which provides our customers a secure, safe, and sustainable solution for the disposal of CRT glass.
